Paper Makeup Stamps - Fairies Sneak Peek

Hi everyone! It seems like forever that we've had a new release from Paper Makeup Stamps! With us doing releases every other month, it seems like a long time ago! We've already had two days of sneaks that you can see on the PMS blog.

Today we are revealing a few new fairies, some single stamps, and a sentiment set. I have this cute fairy to reveal named Lea. I love this girl flying the kite! The perfect thing to do on a breezy spring day! I chose these fun papers from My Mind's Eye called Fine and Dandy True Blue. I colored her with copic markers to match the paper. The layout is from SCS this week.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Thank goodness it's Friday! I've had a busy week and this weekend will be busy too with Mother's Day and all! But today I have another Christmas card for Christmas Stampin' All Year Long to share with an image from Pink Cat Studio.The challenge this week at CSAYL is to use a funny sentiment. Well, I forgot about that little part of the challenge and I don't think my sentiment is too funny, but the image I chose is too cute! This image is called Dog Elf in Present. I love dogs, so this one jumped out at me. It's colored with copic markers to match the patterned paper from SU (can't remember the name of it). My "unfunny" sentiment is from Little Moments by Paper Makeup Stamps.

A Year in Review - My Time Made Easy Group Post

Wow, it's Thursday already! Where has the week gone? Today is the last post for the May release over at My Time Made Easy! We had a Spring theme this month with bees, flowers, and wheel barrows! However, the last group post is traditionally called A Year in Review where we use our favorite products from MTME. How to choose when they are ALL your favorites?

I'm posting a project I made for our annual Spring Fest stamping event here in Buffalo, NY. Tracy Harp and her crew of elves made this event of 85 stampers even better than the previous events! There are all kinds of swaps going on and I always sign up for the 3-D swap. Hmmm....I wonder why? This year, I chose to use the Jam Packed template.

I made 10 of these little beauties...2 in each of 5 different designs/colors. But, in my haste, I never took pictures of all of them!
This was an extra one, so I had it on hand to photograph. I made the bases in orange, yellow, rose, red, and this blue. They were all so pretty! The flower is from the Flutters and Flowers cut file. I ran it through the swiss dots cuttlebug folder and then curled the petals on a pencil. The button was added for the center piece. I love the inside of this box. It holds an 8 oz. canning jar! It was designed with the perfect circle cut-out to hold the jar. I added a pretty ribbon around the lid. Now I didn't fill the jar with jelly or jam. Those small $1 ribbons that you can get at AC Moore or JoAnn's fit into the jar perfectly! So that was what I filled my jar with. The labels came with the jars, so I stamped the "Just for You" sentiment from Tending the Garden stamp set.

A Honey of a Post!

Hello friends! I'm posting another project today from the My Time Made Easy May release. I have been planning this project in my head since I set eyes on this release, and it materialized just as I imagined! That doesn't happen very often, as I'm sure you know. But I'm happy to say it did for me today! Here it is.Isn't it cute? This is the new template from MTME called Oh-Bee Hive! Since I've seen it, I've just had it in my head that it should be hanging from a branch. So I flipped it upside down, added a ribbon, and did just that...hung it from a branch. Well, not a real branch. This is a calendar holder I've had and not used yet! It's still in it's raw form waiting to be painted! I printed this new honeycomb print from the digital paper pack called Buzz-y Blooms. I used my Cricut and the My Bee Loved cut file for the three different bees and adhered them to the hive. The tiny black ones were stamped directly on the hive. The large queen bee is sitting atop the hive and the middle one adorns the bow from above. The bees are from the Bee-Loved stamp set.Here's the card that I created to go along with the hive. I used a scrap from the template on the card. The pretty image is where I got my idea for the hanging beehive. It is also from the Bee-Loved stamp set. I stamped more of the tiny bees on it as well. The sentiment is from the Bee-Loved Sentiment stamp set. The gingham ribbon and silver pearls finish it off. I hope you enjoyed my post today! Happy Birthday Lauren!

Hi everyone! Today is Lauren Meader's birthday, and some of the girls got together and posted our birthday wishes and cards on the My Time Made Easy blog for her. Here's my card for Lauren.
I cased myself with this card! I had done it up in red here a little while back. The sentiment and little birdcage are from the Singing Silhouette stamp set. The paper is from the digital paper pack Wistful Wonder. The birdcage and branch are from the cut files Caged and Branching out, respectively. I actually designed this card for a stamping event I went to here in Buffalo on Saturday. Everyone seemed to like it and it was fairly easy to pull together.

A Communion Invitation

Hi everyone! My girlfriend's son is making his communion in a few weeks, and she asked me to make the invitations. Saturday I was at a stamping event here in Buffalo and got this layout idea from one of the stampers there.I thought it was an interesting and different way to do an invitation. The cross is from Everyday Blessings from Papertrey Ink. It was stamped in Versamark, then embossed with silver embossing powder. I added a silver pearl to the center of the cross.
The inside of the middle panel is where the information for the event is revealed. Super simple card...just some heat and dry embossing. I added the Bashful Blue panel for some color.

My Time Made Easy - Release Day and Group Post

It's release day at My Time Made Easy and we have some fabulous new products for you this month! We have two new templates, two new stamp sets, and a new cut file. I made four cards using the new stamp sets called Bee-Loved and Bee-Loved Sentiments.Of course I had to use yellow and black for my color scheme! Both cards use the Bee-Loved and Bee-Loved Sentiments stamp sets and the My Bee-Loved cut file.
I added Diamond Stickles to the wings and they sparkle so nicely! Here's the same card using another sentiment. I used last week's Fall to Layout for both cards.Here is another card using a different Fall to Layout and the other bee image from Bee-Loved and matching cut file.And here's the same card with another sentiment.
