Today's featured stamper on SCS is Michele (Chelemom). You can find her gallery here. I chose this card to case because I just got this Boards & Beams set from PTI and I took my inspiration from the house Chelemom used on her card.
I started by choosing my dp. I used Basic Grey's Scarlett's Letter and then chose the greens, rusty red and browns for the main image. (I wish I owned a home like this! I love old homes because they have so much character that is missing in the newer homes these days.) I colored the windows in a light yellow to make it seem as if the lights are on. The trees were colored then cut out and placed on dimensionals. The main image is also on dimensionals. I used copic markers to color the house and trees. I left off a sentiment because I didn't want to cover up any more of the dp...it's so pretty. So I chose this jute green ribbon and placed two larger brown brads on top of it. I think it finished it off nicely. All in all, I'm really happy with this one. Let me know what you think! TFL!
