Paper Makeup Stamps Release Day Blog Hop
I'm using two new images from this month's release on my card today....the sentiment from the Handmade set and the Color Kids: Snowflake image. I just thought this sentiment went perfectly with this image. I always have my students make these snowflakes during the holidays. We put silver glitter on them and hang them from the ceiling in my classroom. This sentiment reminded me of my students making them!
I colored the Snowflake girl with copics and cut it out. Since she is cutting out a snowflake, I wanted to mount her on one. I googled snowflake cut files and found this one for free. I downloaded it and cut it out with my Cricut. Then I put a thin layer of Monoadhesive glue over it and glittered it up. It's hard to tell in the photo, but it's glittery! I also glittered the girl's snowflake. I glued the snowflake to the base (the paper is The Merry Days of Christmas from My Mind's Eye) and put the girl on top with dimensionals. I had this banner cut out and sitting on my table, so I stamped the sentiment from the new Handmade set onto it. I added the ribbon and bow last.
Don't forget about our Release Party tonight. It starts at 9:00 pm EST in the PMS forum. We'll have fun, challenges, and prizes! We'd love for you to join us...tell a friend or two!

A Paper Makeup Stamps Monster of a Hop!
Welcome to our monthly Paper Makeup Stamps hop! This month we are having a Monster of a Hop...everyone is using one of the many PMS monsters!
We have several guests joining us on this hop. You can find the linky list at the end of my post. You can hop along with us!
The monster I chose to use today is Spike. I've used him several times before and just love him. I made this a Halloween card, using the colors of the holiday.
The dp is from a Halloween K&Company paper pack. I paired it with this retired green from SU. I love this sketch from this month's Sketch for You to Try. This is the second time using it today! The sentiment is from the Witch fairy set. I added a spider button in the upper corner (I got a whole bag of different size spider and bat buttons for $2.50 at JoAnn's!) and put crystals in place of the button holes.
We have a great deal for you for this week only! All the PMS monsters are 15% off! Just use the code MONSTERHOP at checkout for you discount. So if you see one on the hop that you like, now is the time to get it!
Below are the hoppers....stop by to see what they've created! Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Makeup Stamps Release Day Blog Hop!
I'm using one of the new wordart singles. I love this sentiment! So "colorful"!!
I was searching for sketches and came upon this one from Taylored Expressions. I'm not a fan of banners, but I really liked this one because of the bigger banner. I like Basic Grey's Junebug dp because of all the fun colors in it, so I chose five different patterns and went a-cutting! After I cut the banners, I ran the white piece through PTI's linen impression plate. I can't see to leave a blank space blank...I either need some texture with an embossing folder/impression plate or some sort of embellishment! I adhered the banners to the textured white piece, then stamped the sentiment. I masked off the word "color" and inked the rest in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored each of the remaining letters with a different color SU marker. Lastly, I adhered the Mandarin Orange baker's twine and bows with monoadhesive glue. The base of the card is SU's new Lucky Limeade cardstock. That is fast becoming a fav of mine!
So now I have to send you off to the next blog. But before you go, my letter for you is S. Don't forget that we are partying tonight in the PMS forum! Lots of fun and prizes! Invite some friends...we are giving away extra prizes for those who bring friends! The more the merrier!
Now, off you go to Andrea's blog! She's going to have something fabulous I just know it! Thanks for stopping by today! See you later at the party!

Paper Makeup Stamps June Blog Hop!
Hi everyone! Welcome to the Paper Makeup Stamps June blog hop! You should have arrived here from Randee's fabulous blog. If not, please start at the PMS blog to see all the fun stuff you have missed! We don't have a release this month, but we are reviewing all the fabulous images PMS has released over the past two years. Our theme this month is summer, and boy am I ready for summer! I chose the Freckled Lemonade stamp set for this card.
I just love this set! I chose this pitcher because it just looked so refreshing, and what better way to spend a summer afternoon sipping lemonade (maybe mixed with some other libation!). I colored it with copics and then added crystal stickles to make it look more refreshing and icy! The paper is Lemonade from Basic Grey (appropriately chosen!). I added a pretty yellow ribbon and the sentiment on a flag. There are dew drops in the corner for more color. The next stop on our PMS blog hop is Jami's blog. She always has some fantastic eye candy for you! If you get lost, you can start at the PMS blog and also read about the prize package Katie is giving away worth over $40!!! You don't want to miss out on that! Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop and Just Us Girls
Happy Saturday! I have a two-fer for you today! It's release day for Paper Makeup Stamps and that means it's also our blog hop! You should have arrived here from the PMS blog. If not, start there to get all the details about the hop.Today also begins a Just Us Girls challenge for this week, and it's a sketch challenge...one of my favorite challenges! Pam is the hostess and here's her sketch.
I love how funky this sketch is! That panel on the left is so cool!
I used this image from Tweet Things by Paper Makeup Stamps. I'm showcasing the new sentiment stamp set called Build a Sentiment set. It has a bunch of words that you can link together to create a special sentiment. It has family words in it such as Husband, Wife, Niece, Nephew, etc. It's one of those sets that you always wish you had and that you'll use over and over again! The paper is from Cosmo Cricket called Circa 1934. I used the Bow Easy to make the double bow out of black satin ribbon and added the red button. It's threaded with some Scrapper's Floss. I've seen other crafters using it and I had to pick some up! It's a fun new accessory for me. The bling is a $1 item I found at AC Moore.
You can see what the JUGs DT did with this sketch on the JUGs blog. I'm so happy to be back playing on this challenge after taking a much needed two week break! But I did miss my JUGs girls!
I want to remind you of our Release Party tonight over in the Paper Makeup Stamps forum. There's always great chatter, prizes, and games going on (and someone always brings cheesecake, too!). It starts at 9:00 pm EST, so we hope to see you there!
Now I'm going to send you on your way hopping over to Christi Snow's blog to see her fabulous creation! I don't have a letter for you, but Christi will!

Paper Makeup Stamps April Blog Hop
The theme for this hop is "SPRING". I went to the PMS store and looked in the Spring images folder, and I found this cute guy named Sourpuss.
Great name, huh? This is one cute critter that I've never inked up! It's been raining here the last couple of days and I just feel like him! I know the "April Showers..." sentiment, but I need my sun!
Sourpuss is colored with copics, and the raindrops are all covered in star dust stickles. The patterned paper is Salt Air from Cosmo Cricket. I added the buttons tied with coordinating twine. The sentiment (perfect for this guy) is also from PMS. The sketch is this week's Sweet Stop. Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy the hop!

Paper Makeup Stamps Release Day Blog Hop!
Welcome to the Paper Makeup Stamps Release Day Blog Hop! Today is the day you will be able to purchase all the wonderful stamps you've been seeing! If you've just stopped by my blog, please make sure you start at the beginning, the PMS blog, to get all the information about our hop. If you're on the hop, you should have come from Dawn's blog and saw her Sally Sheep creation.Today, I've got the Danny fairy to show you.
When I thought of the name "Danny", I thought of a little Irish boy. So I went with this green paper from the Oliver paper pack by Basic Grey. And, of course, I gave him reddish hair! I used the March sketch from Sketch for You to Try. I found it very interesting and it worked perfectly with my image. I added very little embellishments to let the papers and image take center stage. There is also another larger dragonfly available for purchase as well called Danny's Dragonfly. This dragonfly and Danny's wings have star dust stickles on them. The sentiment is from the Little Moments set. I find that really is a great go-to set lately. You should have been collecting letters along the way to spell out a quote which will get you 15% off the new release. My letter for you today is N.

Now I'm going to send you to Christi Snow's blog to see her fabby creation.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you tonight at the Release Party!

Things We Love...Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop
I was trying to decide what PMS image to use on my card today. I LOVE the Beautiful Day Fairies...they are what attracted me to this company, but I decided on a Moody Girl. I'll never forget when Katie revealed these girls to the design team with a warning "not to be afraid of them"! I was so intimidated to color one, but once I did I realized they are so fun to color and offer many options of color. So I chose Moody for Love. I thought she would be perfect for this love-themed hop.
There are a couple of other things in here that I love. First of all the colors. I love any colors that go with brown. This pink/red/brown/vanilla combo just makes me drool! The paper is from the Crazy Love pack by Bo Bunny. I just picked this up at my LSS last week...just yummy! I stamped the Moody Girl on white PTI paper, colored it, and cut/embossed it with a scallop circle nestie, then realized the white was too white for this paper. So I swirled some Pink Pirouette ink around it while still in the die. Then on the edges where you could still see white, I inked it up with tea dye distress ink...it made it look like vanilla cardstock! The XOXO sentiment is from the Hugs and Kisses stamp set. Another thing I love are my star dust stickles, which I used on some of the hearts. (Some of the hearts were stamped a second time and popped up for more dimension.) And the last thing in the picture I love is the chocolate covered cherry candy...LOVE them!
The sketch is the new one for February from Sketch for You To
Try. The colors qualify for the CR84FN color challenge of light pink, bright pink, and brown.
And now I'm going to send you off to my good friend and very talented guest for today's VIP hop, Cheryl Rowley! She chose Bronto the dinosaur for her card because she loves the Dustin Dinos in the PMS store. Please show her some love...you will love her style for sure! Thanks for participating in our hop, Cheryl! :-)
Thanks for hopping with us today. If you just happened to stop in, please go to the PMS blog and start hopping along with us! Have a great week!

Paper Makeup Stamps Release Day and Blog Hop!
This is one of the new fairies this month called the Sugar Plum fairy. She can be used all year 'round, too! I colored here with copics and then cut her out. She's quite a large stamp because of the way she is dancing. The chocolate panel was run throught a snowflake cuttlebug folder. The dp is from a retired SU pack (maybe Holiday Treasures?). I paired it with pink pirouette paper and added the pink taffeta ribbon and pink glitter dots. I punced the side of the pink panel with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. The sketch sort of follows the current Taylored Expressions sketch.
I'm going to send you off to Anita's blog for some more fab inspiration. Before you go, I'm going to give you your first letter.

Thanks for hopping with us! Don't forget about our release party tonight in the PMS forum at 8:00 pm CST. Hope to see you there!

Double Hopping with PMS and CTD!
First of all, let me give you all the information from the Paper Makeup Stamps hop. Today is Release Day for Paper Makeup Stamps, and we always hop on release day! So if you are hopping with PMS, you should have come here from the fab Christi Thorsen's blog. If not, stop by the PMS blog to start at the beginning. We are showcasing four new sets today that all deal with beauty. Our DT member, Shaela Odd, illustrated all of them! You should have been collecting letters along the way that will spell out a code to get you 15% off the new release. My letter for you is "A". When you leave here, you will head on over to our new DT member, Andrea Vernagus. Also, tonight at 8:00 pm CST, we will be partying in the PMS forum. Stop by for some chatter, fun, games, and giveaways! (Just a note: the PMS hop is starting at 7:00 am EST, so if you are here before then, you won't see that hop just yet!)
Secondly, it's the 100th color challenge at the Color Throwdown Challenge blog! Woohoo!!! Those girls are so talented, and always come up with some great color combos! I'm not on their team (that's just a dream of mine!), but they've asked all of their previous guest designers to participate in this challenge. I was honored to be guest designer in October 2009, so that's why I'm hopping with them today! And there are some fabulous prizes being given away. You can get the details on the CTD blog, but in a nutshell...you have to comment on all the blogs participating in the challenge (one comment per person and I have them listed below) AND post a card using the colors on the CTD blog by Monday, July 12 at 11:59 p.m. in order to be in the running. Each participating blog is giving away some fab prize, and mine just happens to be the entire July release from Paper Makeup Stamps!!!! (I wonder how I got that prize to give away! LOL!!) One of you is going to be so lucky because this month's release is HUGE! Good luck!
Now, here are the CTD colors to play with for this 100th celebration.
I have to admit that this was a challenging one for me...I think I got it to work ok (but I think I've lost my mojo...it's still on holiday!). Here's my card.
I first pulled out cardstock in the four colors, then pulled out every dp I had that could possibly work with this combo. After much consideration, I chose these which are both My Mind's Eye. The floral print is an old one called Wild Asparagus, and the other is from the Quite Contrary line. The image is a new single image called Beauty Profile. I just love that image. To keep with the colors, I had to color her hair green (I really like it!), and swirled some regal rose ink around the white part. The sentiment, which is from a new mini set called Beautifully Fabulous, was stamped over the image as an after thought (and is a little crooked because of it!). It's a quote from Coco Chanel which reads "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous!" Love that saying! The corner pieces are a cuttlebug die. I added the blue crystals to it and some star dust stickles to the image to bling it up!Tammy Hershberger - Stamp Happy
