My Time Made Easy March Preview - "Egg-stra Special"

Hi everyone!  Are you ready for spring?  I sure am!  It will be here before we know it!  And My Time Made Easy is ready too with their March release which has some fabulous items for spring!  We are previewing two new templates today, and the entire release will be available on Friday, March 1st!

I'm using the new template called Egg-stra Special.  You guessed it...it's an egg, but I made mine into a Faberge egg!  I Googled them and found this one that I fell in love with and used it as my inspiration!

Here's what I created.  Pretty darn close, huh?  LOL!!  I started with this digital paper.  It's from the previously released Shopping Shirley's Candied Thistlestalk digital paper pack.  There are so many digital papers in the MTME store!  I have fun shopping and finding new patterns that I hadn't noticed or forgot about!  Check them out here.

Back to the template!  The base of the template was cut out of Riding Hood Red cardstock, then I layered the decorative paper on top.  I added gold trim around the middle and also made bow from the same trim.  The rose was added to the middle of the bow.  I then added some gold Stickles on the decorative paper on the top half of the template only.  It looks so pretty in the light!  There are two halves to this template, so you can open it and put lots of goodies inside!

I just realized while typing this post that I was supposed to preview the new Display template...Yikes!  Well, you'll see that one soon!  ;-)

You can see more of this template and the Display template by visiting these blogs.

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to check back on Friday to see the entire release!
