Just Us Girls #281 - Color Week

Hi everyone!  I'm the hostess over at Just Us Girls this week, and it's Color Week!  I've chosen a fun color palette that I hope you'll enjoy too!

Here's a close up of the colors.
Perfect color for little girls room . And if you had a boy first and used these blues, so easy to add pink/peach accent colors - no need to repaint which means money saved!

Here's what I came up with.  For the beige, I chose to use kraft card stock.  Then I took inspiration from that pillow on the left.  I embossed the navy card stock with Versamark and liquid platinum embossing powder.  That powder is just so pretty!  The flowers on the one pillow reminded me of this dahlia image, so I stamped it in regal rose and navy.  I added some silver pearls to the center of the flower.

You can see more from the JUGs design team and our guest on these blogs.

Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely card! I thought the blue background was patterned paper until I read that you embossed it. Beautiful pattern and I love the platinum embossing powder. Love that gorgeous flower too! Fun color combo!

Really love your card; to use the dark blue as a BG looks super! This aren't colours I use often together, so must see if I come uo with anything... Enjoy your sunday!

You really took some inspiration from the photo to make your card. I'm not sure what I like the best, as I love it all.
