Time Out #26 Reminder - It's Our 1st Anniversary!

Hi everyone!  Long time, no post!  It seems like forever since I've been able to sit in my craft room!  And for this card, I was only in there for a short while.  It's been a busy month.  We were on vacation, then when I came home my mom suffered a fractured pelvic bone.  Now she is in rehab and from there she will be going to an assisted living facility.  I've been wanting her to go there, but now that it's actually happening I'm kind of sad.  But in the end, it will be much better for her.

Anyway, did you know that the Time Out Challenge is celebrating its first anniversary?  Yep!  And there are prizes being given out as well!  Here's the scoop:

Our very own DT members Shery and Beverley have both very generously offered these prizes for this challenge.
-The winner chosen by our DT will get a $15 STAMPlorartions Gift Voucher and a £15 Uniko Gift Voucher
-A randomly chosen winner will get a Celebration/Birthday stencil pack from STAMPlorations

So why not play along?  This week is a reminder week of our Home Sweet Home challenge.  We have this great photo for you to use as inspiration.

So here's my take.  I found this old PTI set that had these great frame stamps in them.  I stamped them in Memento Luxe inks and stacked them sort of like in the inspiration photo.  Then I stamped this great "Hugs" sentiment in black to mimic the branches in the photo.  The flag sentiment was then stamped in pink and to finish it off, my fav enamel dots!   Love those!  I rounded two corners to give it some interest and soften the edges.  That's it!  Pretty easy peasy!

I hope you can play along and celebrate with us over on the Time Out blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hope your Mum is doing well and liking the rehab centre. My Mum had a car accident last year and broke her leg and stayed with us for 7 weeks. She was so frustrated because she is so independent, hard for her to sit still and have people care for her. Is your Mum like that?? So glad you found that stamp set because this couldn't be more perfect for the challenge!!
