Hi everyone! I'm here to remind you that our current Time Out Challenge is going on for another week. It's our Inspired by Words challenge and the words are:
Happy is the bride that the sun shines on...
Last week, I made a card with a bride theme. This week I'm focusing on the sunshine part. I just organized all my dies. I've had them organized alphabetically by company, but that was a problem because I found I was buying dies from companies that were similar and I didn't even realize I had! And I was buying duplicates of them too! So now, they are organized by category. While I was doing that, I found these Lil' Inker dies I didn't know I had, and they were perfect for this challenge. I die cut the sun and clouds from watercolor paper and watercolored them with distress inks. I mounted them on a piece of cardstock that was given texture with a linen impression plate. Then I just added some pretty sequins and the sentiment.
I used this sketch from CAS(E) this sketch.
You can see more from the design team on the Time Out blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

So cute, Lisa ... the background texture with the stitched edges on the clouds and sun is fabulous ... and what a fun sentiment! Anita :)

Awesome creative use of the sketch Lisa!
Thanks for playing at CASE this sketch!
How funny, we both had the same idea to use clouds for the CAS(E) this Sketch!!! Great minds think alike! Just love that impression plate you used on the card front and love the colouring of your die-cuts. Brilliant card!
