Hi friends! Ready for a new challenge from Time Out? This challenge is a theme challenge. We want you to use the theme of nature and if you want to twist with us, add an animal too!
I've had this stamp set from Inky Antics for a couple of years now and it needed to finally see some ink. (See, hubby? I do need all these stamps cause some day I'll need them!) I stamped the jar and the bug on watercolor paper with Archival ink. I colored them with the new Zig Clean Color Real Brushes. (I looked online for them a few weeks ago and no one had them. I saw a post from my local stamp store who said they had them. One phone call to hold the last set of 24 for me and they were mine!) I added glossy accents to the bug's eyes and star dust stickles to its wings.
My layout comes from this week's Retro Sketches. I changed the orientation for my card to vertical.
You can see more from the Time Out design team and our guest for this challenge, Barb Ghig.
Thanks for stopping by!

Great use of the sketch and I love the colors! Such a happy, cute, fun card!
Adorable! What a fun use of the sketch Lisa.
This would certainly cheer up anyone feeling under the weather. So cute and punny sentiment. Hugs Bev x
This card caught my eye on the Time Out blog - fabulous!
How can a bug look this cute?? I think the glossy accent on the eyes is the perfect touch!
Such a fun card (still smiling while typing this...) And the fabric looks great! Have a fun weekend!
Such a sweet bug - the perfect get well card :) Love the background pattern too - just so fun and playful!
Husbands are great for saying 'More stamps???'. They don't quite understand that you may not need it right away but a time in the future will come when you will need it. This is super cute and love the look on the bugs face. How are you finding the Zig brushes?? I've been trying to decide if I need them or not. Would love to know what you like (and don't like) about them.
So fun, Lisa ... love the detailing on that little bug with his shiny eye and glittery wings ... he's guaranteed to cheer up anyone under the weather! Anita :)
