Hey friends! Just Us Girls has a fabulous challenge this week. It's Trend Week and Bobby chose to use a BLACK BACKGROUND.
I was excited for this challenge because I knew this Blossoms Fill-In stamp set from Concord & 9th would be the perfect stamp for it! Can I just say that I am tickled pink (or black?) with this card? Is that too vain? Well I am! It really came out just as I had imagined! I stamped it with Versafine onyx black ink. I had to stamp it twice to get a really dark black impression. Then I used various orange and green inks to stamp in the flowers. Super easy and fun card to create! I die cut it with a stitched rectangle and added the sentiment, silver crystals, and star dust stickles to the flower centers. Now I have to save it for someone really special to send it to! ;-)
You can see more from our amazing JUGs design team and our March guest on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

WOW! I had to look up the stamp set to see if what I thought I was reading in your description was right...and it was! what a cool stamp and what a great card! ~ I added it to my wish list. You did a beautiful job stamping it all in too and I like the added accents. Stay well!
Haha, not vain at all Lisa - it's a real showstopper! It took me a while to figure out how you'd made it but then I realised the stamp must be stamping the background and then you use other stamps in the set to fill in the gaps where the flowers are! You've chosen gorgeous colours and I absolutely love it :)

Jaw dropping gorgeous Lisa. Loooooooove the colour choice. Just so beautiful against the black background.
Absolutely gorgeous! That black background really makes those beautiful flowers pop. I love the colors you used on the flowers. I have looked at this set many times and have resisted up to now, but you are really making me want it.
What beautiful flowers agains the black! Looks absolutely stunning! Nice job.
That is a perfect stamp for the challenge, Lisa, and I wish I had thought of it. But I can still do it later. I really love it and the colors you used for the flowers.
OHMYSTARS! This is an absolutely gorgeous card, Lisa! I would be tickled pink, too, if I had made one like this! Stunning!
