Hello friends! It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Angie chose "Stripes". So many possibilities!
I was late getting this card done. I was planning on crafting last night, but a friend called and asked me to go out for a drink and some dinner. It's been so long since I've been able to do that, so I went (I'm fully vaccinated!). It was so nice to be able to go last minute!
So this morning I sat down at my desk and saw this heart sitting there. I had just gotten this stamp set last week and was anxious to see how this three-step stamp set worked. I decided it would look nice with this rainbow striped pattern paper. I stamped and die cut a few more flowers and added them for dimension. I also stamped and die cut the sentiment and added it to the card. To finish it off, I added crystals and shimmer spritz. I love how bright and fun this card is. I'm sending it to a friend who is in rehab for a broken ankle. She needs some cheering up!
You can see more from the JUGs design team and our new guest for the month of April, Claire, on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

I'm sure your friend will love this, Lisa - it's so bright and cheery and I love that heart stamp! Hope you enjoyed your unexpected night out!
She will love this! The pretty bright colors would cheer up anyone -- gotta love the added stripes too.
Good for you to get a night out! This card is so lovely and happy! Love the background and your new floral stamp looks great as it has lots of fun little add ons. Your placement on each stamp is perfect as it looks like DSP. One of my favs of yours for sure!
That heart is so cool and I love how you added the extra flowers giving it more dimension! The striped background goes perfectly with the heart. Such a happy, feel good card. Glad you got to do something semi-normal during these times!
The DSP looks fabulous behind your wonderful flowery heart, Lisa. Bright and cheerful and perfect for your friend.
So very pretty and colourful Lisa. Love the striped background to show off this floral filled heart.
Your friend will mega-watt smile when she receives your gorgeous, from-the-heart card, Lisa! I know I am!
