MTME Release Day and Blog Hop!

Now I can share my shoppe with you! I chose to do a Pet Shoppe as soon as I was asked what I wanted to create. I love dogs, so it was the natural thing for me to do!

I made this last week before we went to dinner at our friends' house. They have a golden retriever, and I wanted to make something to give to them. They just built this really pretty red sided house, so I sort of recreated their house here. I started with Riding Hood Red cardstock and printed the vinyl siding design from the Construction Materials Color Me Pretty digital paper on it. The roof is from the Construction Materials Pretty Printables digital paper. This paper is a must have if you are purchasing this Shop Around template. So many options.

I made the stairs and chimney using the accessories included with the template. I also used it for the door, windows, and signs. I used my SCAL and Cricut machine to cut all these as well as the template. Makes life so easy! I then stamped the door and windows using the Home Improvement stamp set. I used a silver pearl for the door knob.

The large sign, sentiment, and paw print on the sign are from the Sign It stamp set. The boutique stamp is from Shoppe Window stamp set. The dog is from the On Display 1 stamp set and was stamped in More Mustard ink. I colored her color in red and added a smaller silver pearl for her collar tag, then cut her out and mounted her on the steps. I added the perfect paw print ribbon (from Michael's).

The card was created using the Homemade Card and Envelope cut file. I stamped the paw from Sign It and the sentiment from On Display 1. I had some extra windows left over, so I made it into a dog tag. I just edged it with a silver pen and added the sentiment (from the previously released Well Preserved stamp set).

My friends loved their gift, and Maggie, their dog, loved the contents! They have this proudly displayed on their counter! Love that!
