Hey everyone! It's Word Week at Just Us Girls, and Ina has chosen the word "bold".
I chose to go with a bold color palette. I pulled out this new set from Altenew. It's one of their cross stitch stamps and it's a layered one too. So I stamped each layer in a different color and tried to do a sort of rainbow color scheme. I stamped the sentiments in black ink and added some Nuvo drops. To continue with the bold colors, I matted this panel on orange cardstock. It's really bold and bright in person!
You can see more from our JUGs design team and a welcome to our April guest, Karren Johnson, on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

The layers of colors look terrific, Lisa, and the bold orange border brings out the color in the flower. This was a great challenge choice.
Oops. It wasn't your challenge choice. I had just posted your challenge and got confused. It seems that's been happening a lot lately. ;)
What an amazing stamp set! Your rainbow colors are layered perfectly! Awesome card~
This flower is amazing and the colors you've used work beautifully together. Such a gorgeous card, Lisa!
Such a great bold bloom and sentiment! Perfect for the BOLD theme!
I've seen a few cards with that Altenew stamp and you have made it your own with those beautiful bright choice of colours. Great sentiment Lisa. Simply fabulous.
I'm a long-time cross-stitcher (but haven't done so in a while), so seeing your lovely bloom here has rekindled the desire to bring out my needle, threads and patterns! You've achieved 'bold' in a most beautiful and inspiring fashion!
Hugs~carol
This is lovely, Lisa! So unusual, Jo x
LOVE this card on all counts...design, color, and boldness! I love Nuvo drops but don't have them in neon. I must buy them now! Thanks ;)
That is such a cool flower image and I love how you layered those bright colors on it! Love the addition of the Nuvo drops, which you always use beautifully!
