Just Us Girls - Color Challenge #89

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've posted. I had a virus on my computer last week and my wonderful nephew fixed it for me. However, I lost a LOT of files that I'm not too happy about! Plus he upgraded my software to Windows 7 and I'm finding some issues with it...just some fine-tuning I hope! Anyway, today is a color challenge at Just Us Girls and Elise is hostessing her first JUGs challenge! She chose some fab colors!

I chose to use a new stamp set from Ippity called New Season, New Wonder that I got from my fellow JUGs girl, Maria. I stamped the cherries in Riding Hood Red and used a marker for the stems and leaf. The red and green dp is from SU's retired Bella Rose and the saffron dp is also from SU. I used another retired cardstock from SU called Cool Caribbean. The sketch is the Fall to Layout from Clean & Simple.

Stop by the JUGs blog to see what the girls are up to.

LIsa! This card is suh-weet! I love the cool cherry image...this is not your everyday cutesy cherry! Kinda trendy and edgy. Love it!

Oh..... GOODNESS! Cherries Jubilee? Yes, please! THIS is scrumptious on a WHOLE bunch of levels - but especially on a hot summer's day! - Let's just put this one right in Webster's under "sweet!" A flawless definition, indeed! Thanks for making these colors look EXTRA sweet! YOU da WOman! xoxo!

So sorry to hear about those nasty computer issues. I was sorting mine out for weeks before and after Springfest. Glad to see you are back at it and hope those Windows 7 issues work out for you soon too. Now onto those fantastic cherries. Couldn't have picked any sweeter right off a tree!!! Love the lettering in them and the cool white space. I think your added stems and leaves perfect your awesome image.
