Just Us Girls Sketch Challenge #148 and My Time Made Easy Year in Review

Happy Saturday everyone!  I have two challenges for you today.  First up is Just Us GirlsElise has what I think is a very pretty sketch for us this week.  I've combined it with My Time Made Easy's Year in Review (sort of!).  You'll see what I mean in the next picture.

My card mostly uses new products from the August My Time Made Easy release.  I just couldn't get enough of this paper from the new Grammy's Pretty Patterns digital paper pack!  I just love the pink and green patterns!  The senitment is from Grammy's Sewing Kit digital stamp set.  I cut it out using a Spellbinder's label die.  The flowers are from the Blossoming into Spring cut file.  This is where I used a product that was previously released!  I cut them using the three different patterns and then added a pink glitter dot in the center.

There were so many pretty new products released this month and I just wanted to keep playing with them, so I made this little box from a new cut file called All Buttoned Up.  The top part are half circles that slide into each other to make this cute button on top.  I simply tied some baker's twine through the holes just like you would for a real button.  An easy peasy box to put together!

Here they are together.  What a pretty gift set, don't you think?

I have a bevvy of blogs for you to visit.  First up is the My Time Made Easy Team.

The girls from Just Us Girls have some amazing creations for you to see too.  We are welcoming Jen Wills as our new Guest Designer for August too!
