Color Throwdown #269

Happy Sunday everyone!  I was able to play in this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  Love these fall/Thanksgiving colors and they went well with an idea I've had for about a week.

I was in Starbucks last week and saw this sign for one of their coffees.  Isn't it cool?  I immediately thought I could replicate it with the help of my Silhouette Cameo.  And guess what?  I did!

I searched the Silhouette store for a turkey and found one that was almost exactly the same as the one in the photo.  Here's what I did:  I just created a rectangle and welded it to the turkey!  Voila!  It looks just like the photo!  In keeping with the CTD colors, I cut the shape out with soft suede cardstock, but I think it's a little light.  So...

I made another using early espresso and I like it better.  More like the photo.  I added an embossed sentiment, a burlap circle, a button, and some twine to finish it off.  A simple card that could be reproduced quite quickly.

Thanks for stopping by!
