Time Out Challenge #76 - Inspired by Words

Hi friends!  Happy Groundhog's Day!

The challenge this time around at Time Out is our Inspired by Words challenge.  We give you a quote to be inspired by.  The quote for this challenge is:
Friends are connected heart by heart,
distance and time can't break them apart.

We are sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays for this challenge, so the team is using their stamps.  I love the ones I'm using today.  I created the background strip by using three ink colors from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I used the same three on the music note.  The black is from her line also.  The inks stamp really nice, but boy are they juicy!  Your fingers will give away the colors you used!  I finished off the card with a black strip and some Nuvo Crystal Drops.

As I said, CAS-ual Fridays is sponsoring this challenge.  Check out the Time Out blog for details on the prize!

You can see more inspiration from the Time Out design team and our guest for this challenge, Jane, on the Time Out blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

I really love how you created that strip using the stamps-I would never have thought of that. The strong black line really helps to ground this. Plus you are such a star with the placement of enamel dots-you know I am a fan but never seem to have your skill in the placement x

I love the simple design of your card, that strip on the left really makes the card and adds a lot of interest! Great job!

I love the look of the sentiment stamped over the trebel. Great design. The colors you used in the side panel blend together beautifully. I really love this one!

I love how you layered the sentiment and the treble cleft - they go together so well! And the reds and purples are the perfect colour choice - so pretty together!
