Just Us Girls #449 - Trend Week

Hi all!  It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby chose watercolor background.  Certainly a trend, wouldn't you agree?

The brother of my husband's friend passed, so I needed a simple sympathy card.  I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors and distress watercolor paper to create the blue background.  Then I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die.  I stamped the flower and sentiment with Versafine Claire ink.  I had to stamp it several times using the MISTI to get the really solid image.  I matted it with a die cut blue panel.  It's also on fun foam for some dimension.

You can see more from the JUGs design team and our guest, Julia Aston, on the JUGs blog

Thanks for stopping by!

Your sympathy card is beautiful...soft and delicate. I know it will touch the heart of the person receiving it; it's certainly touched mine...
