Just Us Girls #451 - Photo Week

Hey friends!  Don't you love this photo Nancy picked for the Just Us Girls Photo Week challenge?  I just love it and was so inspired!

Of course I had to use an Altenew floral layering set for the flower!  I looks very much like it, and I see some of the JUGs design team used it as well!  I stamped it in tiara, bellini, and coral cabana inks from C. Pooler (in that order too).  Then I stamped the outline in black.  The leaves were stamped in garden party and lime rickey C. Pooler inks (in that order as well).  Then I chose this gray (it looks lilac) checked pattern paper from Lawn Fawn and layered it on the card base.  For the white middle piece, I stamped it with black ink and a script stamp.  That piece is on craft foam.  The middle of the flower has Star Dust stickles on it to mimic the center of the flower in the photo.  I added the sentiment and some Nuvo drops.

I used this sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch.  It was perfect!

You can see more from the JUGs design team and our July guest, Julia Aston, on the JUGs blog.  This is Julia's last week with us this month as our guest.  She gave us some beautiful designs and we hate to see her go!

Thanks for stopping by!

Altenew stamps certainly were popular this week and rightly so. Love the background and the script behind that beautiful flower. Sure looks good in orange tones. Nice touch of bling.

A beautiful card for the photo challenge and in using the sketch Lisa! Love the gray plaid, straight and on the angle - such a subtle look with the light color! and your beautifully colored orange flower over the text strip - the scattered enamel dots add a fun splash of color!

That was the perfect stamp for the challenge, Lisa, and I love how you mounted it on the script with the gray checks for the background.
