Hello everyone! This is the fifth Saturday of the month which means it's Wild Card Week at Just Us Girls. Ina is our hostess, and she gets to choose whatever type of challenge she wants. She wants us to make anything but a card.
I love making bookmarks, which is what I chose for this challenge. This bookmark looks pretty simple, but took a long time to make (as is usual for me). I die cut the bookmark from heavy weight cardstock as well as from a SU retired pattern paper. I adhered them together. Then I stamped and die cut the crayons. I colored them with copic markers. I used two colors for each crayon. The sentiment was die stamped and die cut and both the sentiment and crayons were adhered to the bookmark. I added ribbon and twine at the top. I kept it flat (no dimension or crystals like I usually do).
You can see more from our JUGs design team and our July guest, Chrissie Stokes on the JUGs blog. This is her last week with us and I'd like to thank her for her amazing contributions to the challenges this month!
Thanks for stopping by!

Lisa, I love your bookmark and it's colored so well. Love the dotted background too. Great job with this challenge this week.
This bookmark is so fun and colorful! I love that sentiment to remind the reader that they are brilliant, such a great inspiration.
I love bookmarks -- they work perfectly inside of a TY or bday card! These are so fun with the crayons.
Love this, those crayons look real!!!
Those crayons are so beautifully colored, Lisa, and they pop against that bright patterned paper.
Super fun bookmark perfect for back to school time! Nice job.
Smitten with your crayon bookmark, Lisa! Fun, pretty and practical!

Brilliantly colourful creative book mark Lisa. Love it.
No need to say that I'm a bookmark addict. The one you created is delightful! I love these happy colors!
