I'm going to a bridal shower tomorrow so these colors were perfect. I started by stamping the leaf frame with an aqua ink and then overstamping it with the same color using the second layering stamp. Then I did the same for the flowers using a pink ink. I tried to use two different inks for the frame and flowers, but I just couldn't get the right colors together. So I just used the one color and stamped it several times the for the second layer to get a darker impression. For the background, I used a turnabout dotted stamp. I was going to stamp it more times, but I liked it stamped just once. The frame and flowers were die cut with the coordinating dies. The sentiment was stamped in black ink, and I finished it off with sequins and shimmer spritz.
You can see more from the JUGs design team and our July guest, Julia, on the JUGS blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

What a lovely card for a shower using these colors Lisa - what a beautiful wreath of leaves and lovely blossom - the dotted background looks so sweet! I did send my card to Vicki - but I see it is not on the challenge blog today? Perhaps you can get it from my blog? Thank you!
This is beautiful! I love the softness you got by using the same ink for the layers. Great color choice for us this week and so perfect for a bridal shower card.
So very pretty in those soft colours you chose Lisa.
Pretty use of the colors -- love the bg dots )
Perfect card for the bridal shower! The bride will love it, as do I!

Love this card! Certainly perfect for a bride to be! Hope you enjoyed the shower!
Lovely card, Lisa. The polka dots add just the right touch to the background and tie in to the flowers.
