Time Out #180 - Inspired by Words

Hello there!  The new Time Out challenge is our Inspired by Words challenge.  What a great quote for this time of year.

We are sponsored by Newton's Nook for this challenge.

I didn't have the cute stamp set from Newton's Nook of this cute kitty sleeping on top of a stack of books, but I did find this one in my collection.  I don't know about you, but I'm always finding books I'd like to read from friends or suggestions sent to me online.  I thought instead of making a card, I'd decorate a Moleskine notelbook dedicated to recommended books to read.  I started by stamping the image and sentiment in black ink and colored it with copic markers in rainbow colors.  I added shimmer to parts of the images.  I then adhered kraft colored polka dotted pattern paper to the front of the notebook, adhered the image to the center, and added the twine.  I'm hoping to fill up this notebook and read as many books as I can.

You can see more from the Time Out design team and our guest for this challenge, my friend Bobby,

Thanks for stopping by!

This is such a good idea-I love it-Joyce, Shauna and myself are always swapping book ideas-so if you want some recommendations-just shout! I love the stamp set and have it myself-wonderfully coloured and like how you used the neutral base and added twine-you could do this with other notebooks-what a lovely gift it would make!

Love this image, and you've colored it so beautifully. I love that dotted background and the twine is the perfect finishing touch.
