The Cabin

My DH, the dogs and I went out to our cabin today in Cherry Creek, NY. When we got there, the street wasn't plowed and we were disappointed. So we turned around and started back, and then saw the plow. I couldn't believe the amount of snow! We had to walk through the snow to the cabin. This is a picture of my DH and the dogs walking through the snow. I didn't think Kali (the one lagging behind) was going to make it!

This is a picture of the cabin from about where the pond is. I thought this was such a beautiful picture! The sky was so blue today and the clouds so fluffy and white. It was a perfect day! (I, of course, was inside by the fire trying to stay warm!)

Thanks for stopping by! I should have a card done later either for the Featured Stamper challenge or my girlfriend's 50th birthday !

Lisa, I LOVE the pictures of the snow! We do have a lot out here in the country! I especially love seeing the pictures of your dogs! There's nothing like a dog's loyalty! Thanks so much for sharing!

I'm from upstate NY in a little town called Dayton -
not too far from Cherry Creek! I've lived in south Florida for over 20 years now. That's a beautiful picture. Every once in a while I miss the beauty of a winter country day.

Lisa I love this post - I used to go with my boyfriend's family to their cabin in the Sierra mountains (Calif) when I was in High School. One time we had to snowmobile in to the cabin and then dig DOWN to the front door. THey had gotten 15 FEET of snow LOL. But some of my foneest memories of my life were from those days. Thanks for sharing :-) How about a JUGS retreat up there? (summer of course LOL)
