Hello friends!  It's time for another challenge over at Just Us Girls and this week is our Photo challenge.  Look at the fun summery photo Bobby chose.
I started by stamping this watermelon image from an older Stamp-a-Faire PTI set.  It's a three-step image.  I stamped the leaves/rind in green, then the meat of the watermelon in red, and the seeds in black.  Then I pulled out a scrap of the red check pattern paper and die cut a pinked edge square.  Once that was done, I took a piece of watercolor paper and used the same green ink to paint a square-ish splotch on it, big enough to accommodate the checked piece.  I layered this on top of a black banner which grounds it.  I stamped the sentiment and added sequins.  There's glossy accents on the seeds and shimmer on the watermelon.
I used this sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch.
You can see more from the JUGs design team and our July guest on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, I just love this!!! So cute to have the "tablecloth" behind the watermelon, and especially clever to pink the edges. This is adorable and a great take on the challenge!!
