Hey there everyone! Just Us Girls has a great new sketch challenge for you this week. Our fabulous Lynn (the queen of CAS), created this fabby sketch for us.
In addition to the sketch, I used this picture from the Inspired By challenge. I pulled the yellow and florals from it along with the white.
So here's what I came up with. I used Sidewalks patterned paper from October Afternoon that my friend Cheryl bought for me. I just LOVE this paper pack! So many great designs and colors! I used My Time Made Easy's new cut file called Birthday Banner for the banner. I just resized it to fit on the card. The scalloped piece is Regal Rose cardstock, also cut from the same cut file. I used the Large Rolled Rose die from My Favorite Things and another dp from the paper pack. I added a pearl in the center. The leaves were cut from another dp using the Delightful Dahlia die from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is from My Time Made Easy called So Sentimental.
We have two announcements to make on the JUGs blog. We have a new member joining us to replace Dana. Marisa Ritzen has agreed to become a JUGs designer! We are so happy to have her on our team.
We also have a new Guest Designer joining us for the month of July and that is Esther Peck. Please join us in welcoming these two ladies to JUGs!
You can see more inspiration from the design team at these blogs.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying your summer so far!
