Hey there! Can you believe it's June already? Where did May go? But, I'm glad to see May gone. Not very good weather and I need me some summer!
Anyway, it's Word Week over at Just Us Girls, and Sue chose the word RETRO!
I have to admit I saw Sue's card (the retro van) before I made mine. It reminded me of this stamp I have had FOREVER! I don't think it's even available now. But I colored it with copics in some mod colors and die cut it with a stitched rectangle as well as a black mat. The panel behind it was stamped with an old background basics stamp from PTI. That panel was die cut with a larger stitched rectangle and another black mat. The panel the image is on was popped up with craft foam. I added shimmer on several items on the van. I thought the sentiment was appropriate.

Fun fabulous and so Retro Lisa. Love the flower power on the front of the van - the hippies are going on a holiday. Fabulous background and great layering. Now it's time to sing - She's A Mod that came out way back in my era 1964.
I am loving this totally retro vibe! That van is so perfect with it's floral hood and I love the background, it reminds me of those beaded curtains.
That PTI background stamp couldn't have been more perfect! Reminds me of the string of beads my sisters had in their closet growing up. Then that fun VW bus! Love that it has florals on the front!!! Super job! Hope you have a great JUNE!
