Hi friends! I'm the hostess over at Just Us Girls for our Photo Week challenge this week. Since it officially summer in the Northern Hemisphere, I thought this photo was appropriate.
I've had this beverages stamp set for a long time and it may have seen ink once before. I stamped and die cut the images and the "sand" then colored the beverages with copic markers. I tried to color them like the drinks in the photo. Then I used distress oxide inks to create the water and a cloud stencil for the sky. I thought the sentiment was perfect one as this is going to a friend who is retiring next week. I also added some sequins and shimmer to the images.
You can see more from the JUGs design team and our June guest on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

Your card couldn't be any more perfect!!! I am so impressed with your versatile card making skills! You kill it time and time again! Sorry my card is less than ideal this week....I really don't know why I struggled so much as now I have all sorts of ideas. LOL HUGS!
Great card! I love how it matches the photo so perfectly and I love that sentiment for sure - great retirement card!
Those drinks look so yummy and I can just imagine relaxing on a beach under that gorgeous sky sipping on one of these! Beautiful everything! A perfect adaptation of the great photo you chose for our challenge!
Totally 'awesome' creation here Lisa. Simply perfect copy of that summery scene. It sure is 5 o'clock somewhere - just not here at present but will be merrily singing that song for a while now it's in my head.
Fun drinks! Love that sentiment too :)
Those stamps were perfect for your challenge, Lisa, and your background is just like the photo. Great job and inspiration photo.
