PMS Blog Hop and Release Day!

Are you having fun with the PMS blog hop? You should have arrived here from Katie's blog, so if you've come to my blog first, then please go back to the PMS blog. You will find information about what to do with our blog hop! Then you will head on over to Jamie's blog and the fun begins there!

This is the last day of sneak peeks and we've saved the best for last! Our own Shaela Odd has taken on the duties of designer for PMS. She created the Raindrops and Rainbows set I previewed in my last post and she designed all of the quotes we are previewing today! She's done a fabulous job! She is the last one to visit on our hop, so please leave her some kudos for a first job well done! I have two of her quote designs to share with you today.

Courage This card is so much prettier IRL. It did not photograph well. But isn't this quote great? I had to read it a few times before I was really able to appreciate it! It's very thought-provoking! I used a DCWV pad called Sweet Stack. These papers are all glittered up (which is fab with me!). The vertical scalloped and brown piece is all the dp. So nice and easy to work with when everything is already done for you! I used a brown and blue copic marker (E25 and B52) to highlight the important words. The butterfly was created with two cuttlebug dies. The outline was done with white paper and the underside was done with the same blue paper. I added Star Dust Stickes to the outline. The brown dots are Candy Dots by a company called Pebbles Inc. Very quick and easy card to create! Now on to the next card.

Last Minute So this quote is my motto! I'm a last minute person through and through! My DH calls me "Last Minute Lisa"! It's just my nature, I guess! I was like that in school, doing my projects a few days before they were due, and I'm like that now with my card making...I've had over a week to get these done and I did them last night at about 9:00 p.m.! I even did something very last minute with this card...I took the picture and edited it, then decided to add the candy dots! I had to take another picture and edit it again! See? Last minute! Anyway, back to the card! I didn't get a chance to do the PMS Monday Challenge, so I decided to incorporate that challenge into this card. This is the inspiration piece Meli Mitchell gave us to work with. Cute picture, great colors! I once again used the DCWV Sweet Stack paper in these fun and bright colors! I added the snail from PMS to go along with my last minute theme. The cardstock I used was Certainly Celery and the new in-color Crushed Curry. I like taking my copic markers and highlighting words and letters in these quotes. Here I used three markers matched up to the dp to highlight the different letters. It really makes it pop!

So now here's some details you must read carefully! The release party begins with the stamps being released at 9:00 pm EST in the
PMS forum. Prizes will be given away every 30 minutes, and there will be challenges with rewards for them as well! And everyone who leaves a comment on this post will be eligible to win one of these digital images I'm previewing today! You have to leave your comment before 9:00 pm EST because I will choose one person randomly and hopefully announce it at the PMS party or on my blog tomorrow morning (sometimes my computer kicks me out of the PMS parties).

Hopefully you have been gathering letters at everyone's blogs. At the end of the hop, you will have a code that will get you 15% off your total PMS purchase. This will be valid until Friday, July 10. Now here is the letter I'm giving to you: R.

Now hop on over to
Kim's blog to see what she has for you! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment for me!

Super color combos for your cards. I've always loved blues and browns together. That's a great badge look for a Courage saying. I'm not one to do bright colors very often, but I especially love your Last Minute card. So cheery and so true! :) Super job with your samples.
