Just Us Girls #78 - Sketch Challenge

Happy Saturday! I'm so happy it's the weekend! It's certainly been a long week for me!

The challenge this week over at Just Us Girls is a sketch of my favorites! Kathryn designed this fabulous sketch for us. I think I messed it up just a tad with the top pieces, but I think it is close enough! I just love the colors in the paper from My Mind's Eye called Hattie. I paired it with so saffron and night of navy cardstock. The image and sentiment are from the Itty Bitty line from Unity. This one is called On the Bright Side. I picked this up at my LSS, Buffalo Stamps & Stuff last week when I was shopping with my friends Cheryl Rowley and Tracy Harp. I stamped it in baja breeze and used so saffron for the light shining down. Star dust stickles were added to the jewels hanging from the shade. The sentiment is stamped in navy. Lastly, I added navy pearls to the top and bottom strips of paper.

For more inspiration and to play with Just Us Girls this week, stop by the JUGs blog. Since it's the beginning of the month, we have a new featured designer: Teresa Kline. Make sure you stop by her blog as well.

Thanks for stopping in today! I have another post today from My Time Made Easy, and I'll be back tomorrow with the Pretty Palette color challenge. See you then!

Love your colors again and what you've done with the sketch Lisa! The sentiment gave me a chuckle because it reminds me of a song from the theatre show Spamalot I saw this past summer!!!
