Time Out #39 - Theme Challenge

Hi everyone!  Our Time Out challenge this week is a theme, and the theme is "Time Out to Make Your Mark".  In other words, we want you to use any kind of marker to do your coloring (i.e., copics, water colors, pencils, etc.).  And there's a twist too...use a monochromatic color palette.

I chose not to twist with this challenge.  I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to color my image.  I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and then die cut it with the matching die and colored it.  There's also lots of shimmer on the flowers and buds with the Wink of Stella brush...I used a new one that was real juicy.  The doodling around the panel is actually a stamp.  I just got it (and this flower image) at a stamp show this weekend.  I mounted the die cut flower image on the panel then stamped the sentiment.

You can see more from the Time Out designers and our guest for this challenge, Marika, on the Time Out blog.

Very lovely card! Love the colours and the colouring is beautiful. But what really drew my attention was the background doodling stamp. Really makes the card!

And the card is super in person! I know because it came to me in the mail yesterday! Thanks, Lisa! It's a beauty! The sparkle adds a special touch to an already great card. So glad WE got the border edge scribble stamp! Love the large 'Thanks', it fits perfectly!

Got to agree; that doodle stamp is a great addition to your stockpile:). The flowers and die are another super cute find and your colouring has added a big cheery smile--great effect with your markers and sparkle, Lisa. Nice to know you and Cheryl still get your little stamping outings:). Those are always fun.
