Hi friends! The new challenge over at the Time Out blog is a special one. We are coming on the month of October and that means focusing on breast cancer awareness. So Time Out is doing just that. We'd like you to create something having to do with breast cancer or friendship and the twist is to use pink on your card. We are sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays, who has a few great stamps focusing on this topic.
I'm using this set called "Be" by CAS-ual Fridays. I love the sentiments in this set, and I chose to use all three on bands of pink ombre watercolors. I used Distress inks for the bands and then stamped the sentiments on each one. The butterflies were inked with the Distress inks and stamped directly onto the panel. I spritzed the panel with shimmer spray, added Nuvo Dew Drops, and then adhered it to a pink mat. That was popped up on fun foam.
Stop by the Time Out blog to see the details of the challenge as well as the cards by the design team and our guest for this challenge, Yulia.

So pretty, Lisa ... the lovely soft ombré stripes and tiny dew drops are such a great contrast to the bold, strong sentiments! Hugs, Anita :)
fabulous ombre strips and perfectly matched with these strong sentiments-lovely card Lisa x
Wonderful card, Lisa! Great idea to use all the pretty sentiments and your watercolor stripes give your card an artsy look, love them!
Love how you water colored this Lisa. So powerful!
When I saw your card, I smiled because it was very similar to what my original idea looked like - great minds ;) I love the ombre stripes - they really allow that fabulous sentiment to shine - simply lovely!
This is wonderful Lisa. I love everything about this... the three sentiments are wonderful together. The hombre looks great. The two butterflies, dots and shimmer are all fabulous finishes.
What a wonderful card design. I like how you have highlighted each part of your sentiment, with the colors getting darker and bolder as you go down the page.
So pretty! I love the touch you created with the addition of the butterflies to reallly add to the look of the card, wonderful sentiments too. Jenny xx
