Just Us Girls #446 - Photo Week

Hey there!  It's Photo Week over at Just Us Girls, and Maria chose this adorable picture of an owl make from a pineapple and bananas!  How clever!
I used this old owl set from Papertrey Ink.  Everything was die cut and stamped with the coordinating stamps.  I first die cut the panel with the wonky stitches die then impressed it with a woodgrain impression plate.  Then I adhered the branches and owl and the sentiment strip.  I added shimmer to the heart and wings and the Nuvo Drops.
I used the current sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch for my layout.
You can see more from the JUGs design team and our guest, Hannelie Bester, on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!
Stamps:  Polka Dot Parade #11 and Wise Owl (PTI)
Paper:  Recollections white, early espresso

Accessories:  Wonky stitches die (Avery Elle), woodgrain impression plate (PTI), Polka Dot Parade #11 dies, Nuvo Drops, spectrum noir shimmer, dimensionals, white embossing powder

This is fantastic with that adorable owl in the soft colors! Love that leafy branch he is perched on and the sentiment banner. The Nuvo drops are the perfect finishing touch on this! Congrats on your retirement, too!
