Hi friends! It is time for a new Time Out challenge and this week we challenge you to be ENCOURAGING.
We are sponsored by Newton's Nook Designs for this challenge. They are offering up $25 for the winner of this challenge!
Newton's Nook has a bunch of stamp sets with that cute little cat in them, but they also have some floral stamp sets. I chose to use this one for this challenge. It's so pretty and perfect for a square card. Also, the sentiment I chose works well for the challenge (can't forget that!). My initial inclination was to use bright summery colors for the flowers, however being the fall season, I wanted to use more muted colors. I took my inspiration from the mums I have in pots around my house. I switched out my summer flowers for them and they are so pretty! So this is the color combo I came up with and I'm so happy with them! They are colored with copic markers. I matted it on a peach color mat. I did add liquid stardust from Lawn Fawn on all the flower centers for some shimmer.
You can see more from the Time Out design team and our guest for this challenge, Shawna, on the Time Out blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is a beautiful stamp set-I missed this one...next year! Your colour choices could be for any Season, they are so pretty. Your colouring gets better everytime I see it and adding the shine in the centre of the flowers just fab. Another beauty Lisa x
