Happy Sunday everyone! I was able to play in this week's Color Throwdown challenge. Love these fall/Thanksgiving colors and they went well with an idea I've had for about a week.
I was in Starbucks last week and saw this sign for one of their coffees. Isn't it cool? I immediately thought I could replicate it with the help of my Silhouette Cameo. And guess what? I did!
I searched the Silhouette store for a turkey and found one that was almost exactly the same as the one in the photo. Here's what I did: I just created a rectangle and welded it to the turkey! Voila! It looks just like the photo! In keeping with the CTD colors, I cut the shape out with soft suede cardstock, but I think it's a little light. So...
I made another using early espresso and I like it better. More like the photo. I added an embossed sentiment, a burlap circle, a button, and some twine to finish it off. A simple card that could be reproduced quite quickly.
