Hi friends! For Trend Week at Just Us Girls, Bobby has us using our background stamps.
I have to first start out by saying this isn't a favorite card of mine! I started by using the Color Throwdown colors of gray, purple, lavender, and kraft. However, the kraft was not cutting it. I already had the panel done with the first three colors, so I kept it. I sponged the gray, purple, and lavender on Bristol cardstock then stamped and embossed the marble background stamp. I added more ink after I heat set the white embossing powder to darken it up. The sentiment was die cut three times...twice in white and one in purple and stacked them. Crystals finished it off.
You can see more from the JUGs design team and our March guest on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow that's a pretty funky background panel! Love how your sentiment takes centre stage! Thanks for the inspiration.
Your marble background looks great! I really like your color combo and your stacked die cut sentiment. Sounds like you did a lot of extra work on this and it is definitely worth it.
Very awesome background. So impressed you got purple to photograph!
I think the colors worked fine, Lisa, almost like a natural blend. The large stacked sentiment works well with the busy background.
Love it Lisa. Awesome backgroundand bold sentiment.
