When I saw the green and brown, I fell in love! I love anything with brown, actually! And I immediately thought of using PTI's Wise Owl, which I have never used (go figure!). The outcome wasn't what I had envisioned. I had in mind to place a ribbon at the top like the arpon. I actually found a ribbon that matched these colors exactly, however it had big flowers on it and it clashed with the owls, so I left it off and placed a strip of brown scalloped with SU's punch in the middle of the card instead. The owls on the white are stamped with Kiwi Kiss and I used Chocolate Chip for the one on top. I used the rectangle and scalloped rectangle nesties as well as the tag die. The sentiments (on the front and on the inside) are also from Wise Owl. I used the houndstooth cuttlebug folder because it resembled the belly of the owl. I sponged the white pieces with the chocolate chip for more definition. I have two birthdays coming up next week, so this may be one of the cards I send. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
