Pretty Palette #16 & My Time Made Easy New Release

Happy Sunday everyone! Are you enjoying your weekend? Here in the States we are celebrating our 4th of July Independence Day! Fun holiday! I'm making a flag cake today with strawberries, blueberries, cool whip, and pound cake! Everyone loves it, so I enjoy making it. And it is so simple to make, too!

Today I'm doing a two-fer for the My Time Made Easy July release and the Pretty Palette color challenge.  This week's colors are so predictable, but oh so appropriate!  Showin' the red, white, and blue!
I love how my project came together this week.  Here it is.
I used the brand spankin' new template from My Time Made Easy called the Carry Clutch.  And I decked it out in all its glory!  The template was just cut out with white card stock, then decorated with some patriotic papers.  The navy paper with the stars was a purchase at JoAnn's (I don't know who makes it).  The red, white, and blue stripe paper is from Bo Bunny's Liberty collection.  Some fun papers in that pack!  The red label was created using the Be Dazzled cut file.  The stars were punched with a Creative Memories punch and Star Dust Stickles were applied to each one for some sparkle.  I thought the sentiment (from the new MTME Be Dazzled digital stamp set) was perfect for one of the items I put in the bag.  Let's take a look at what's I packed in there.
How festive is this?  Bath & Body Works had these patriotic antibacterial gels in apple pie and red apple scents.  And they also had a fob to put on your purse decked out in crystals to form a flag! Now you can see why I used the "You're a Gem" sentiment!   How cute! (I tried to put it on the bag, but it flopped down!  Too heavy for a card stock purse!).  I gave this to my friend's daughter, Marissa, who is 10 years old.  They came in from Syracuse to visit family this weekend and I thought she'd love a little 4th of July gift like this...she was thrilled with it!

My friends on the My Time Made Easy DT,  Lauren, Debbie, and Monique , are posting projects from the July release today as well, so please stop by to see what they've created for you!

Also stop by the Pretty Palette blog to see what the girls there have done.   Laurel, Lori, Lynn, and Romaine will also have some festive, patriotic creations!

Thanks for coming by today!  I hope you have a fab 4th of July!
