Happy Father's Day!

So call me a bad daughter-in-law, but I hate making masculine cards! They are such a challenge for me and I dread when I have to make them! So my solution to that...CASE a card! LOL! I was strolling through the Mojo Monday blog because I hadn't been there (or any other of the blogs I used to visit) in so long and came across this card by Sarah. She did such a lovely job and I've always loved the SU dp Outlaw (I still have two packs of it!) so I decided to case it. I did use a different stamp. She used a new Verve Visual stamp and I used an old SU set called Headline Alphabet. I stamped it in chocolate chip on Mellow Moss. Sarah used pearls in the corner of her main image and I used brads. I also only used one layer for the star. I used the SU punch and she must have used a die because she had a smaller star layered on a larger one. So there are some changes made to my card!

What I really like about this card is the inside. I used another paper from the Outlaw dp and the stamps from PTI's Father Knows Best. I just love the sentiment and the way it looks on the dp. We always go to breakfast (with his sister and her family and his parents) and then spend the remainder of the day with his parents after his sister leaves to visit her in-laws.
