Nature's Song PMS Peek

Today is day two of the PMS sneak peeks and we are showcasing a new set called Nature's Song. There are five great sentiments and four really cute images included in this set. I think you would call them silhouette images, because they are solid images. I was planning on using a different image, but I'm working with digi images and I couldn't figure out how to crop another image out of the way (go figure!), so I had to change my plan. I really like this's so poignant. I hope everyone has a friend that knows the song in their heart. I know I do!

I wanted to use black as my stong color on this card because I was working with a black image and sentiment. I found this beautiful paper from DCWV called All Dressed Up. I love the papers in this pack, so much so that I have purchased three packs! Crazy, I know, but I just love it! This one reminded me of the PMS logo with with flourish and I loved it paired up with pretty in pink. I added a little pink to the bird's wing with a copic marker (RV21) and Star Dust Stickles to its wing, as well as to the outline of the flowers on the dp. It was looking a little plain, so I scalloped the bottom edges of each panel. It started out as a 4.25" square, but is now smaller since I scalloped the edges.
You can see more of this set if you visit the PMS blog or these PMS DT blogs:
Thanks for stopping by today, and tomorrow I'll have another PMS sneak peek, so make sure you come back for more!
