Time Out Challenge #126

Happy New Year to everyone!  I hope it's a good one for you!

A new year and a new challenge from Time Out.

I wanted to get away from the holiday colors, so I chose this fresh combo.  I stamped the background and added the stacked die cut, which is from Birch Press Designs, our sponsor for this challenge.  There's a vellum shadow behind the word that you can't really see.  I didn't have yellow cardstock to match the ink, so I just did the direct to paper technique to get the color I desired.  In the center of each of those circles is a crystal.  The die cut also has shimmer on it.  The main panel is on craft foam for more dimension.  That's it!

You can see more from the Time Out design team and our guest for this challenge, Jane, on the Time Out blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

What a great combination of pretty and graphic, Lisa ... the sentiment really pops in that buttery yellow ... and what a great touch the gems are ... they sure add pizazz! Bonne Année ... Bonne Santé! Hugs, Anita :)

Oh this is lovely Lisa-adore that background and to add little pearls to each section, such a lovely touch. What is the 'direct to paper' technique?

This is so wonderful. Love that background and the colors you chose. Fresh and fun! Love that you used yellow for your diecut sentiment.

Stacking the die cut sentiment was a great idea -now it really pops from the card although the base it so patterned. Love the look of that background, the color blocking looks amazing! xxx

I love the graphic design of the background - especially how you blinged it up with the crystals :) The colours are just gorgeous - bold and bright to get us in the mood for Spring! Happy New Year!
