Just Us Girls #522 - Trend Week

Hello!  This week is Trend Week over at Just Us Girls and Angie chose for us to use stripes.

I love stripes!  You'll find a lot of them in my closet and on the many stripe stamps I have in my collection.  I pulled out a few and settled on this background stamp from MFT.  I stamped it in antique linen distress ink to match the flower wrapper.  That was die cut using a Hero Arts die and an old SU paper pack.  The flowers and leaves are from Altenew.  The layers were stamped in various coordinating inks and added to the wrapper.  I added a twine bow to the wrapper, some kraft colored sequins on the background, and star dust stickles and shimmer to the flowers.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink.

You can see more from the JUGs design team and our February guest on the JUGs blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

I love your colorful pansies, Lisa. They look great in the wrapper with the stripes in the background.

Your striped background and grid-lines wrapping are perfect backdrops for your colourful pansies which, by the way, are one of my favourite flowers! Sooooo pretty!

According to Stanford Medical, It is in fact the ONLY reason this country's women get to live 10 years more and weigh an average of 19 KG lighter than we do.

(And really, it really has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret-exercise and EVERYTHING around "how" they eat.)

BTW, What I said is "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
