Hi friends! I'm the hostess at Just Us Girls this week for the Color Week challenge. I chose light blue, silver, and white.
I wanted to use the hot foil machine with silver foil for this challenge. I went through my (growing) hot foil plates and came across this butterfly. I used Hammermill cardstock (everyone recommends this cardstock for foiling because it is really smooth) and foiled the butterfly with silver foil. This butterfly set comes with stencils to add color to it. I used two shades of blue inks to do this. I love the way it colored up! Once that was done, I die cut the butterfly with the coordinating die. On the white mat, I used piercing die then die cut the panel with a scalloped die. I mounted that onto a light blue panel. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with silver embossing powder. I added silver crystals for more sparkle.
You can see more from the JUGs design team and our January guests on the JUGs blog.
Thanks for stopping by!
