Happy Saturday! Are you ready for another challenge from Just Us Girls? Sue V. has chosen some great colors for our Color Week challenge.
This card literally makes me smile! I got to use some stamps I haven't used in a while and a new Smile die! I also added some embossing paste with a stencil. And I broke out the copic markers to color the flowers (when was the last time you saw a green flower?)! I die cut the pocket and stamped it with navy ink. The flowers were stamped with Memento ink and colored with the copics. I added white enamel dots to the center of each one. For the little tag on the pocket, I added a smile face that is included in the stamp set. This gave me the idea to use the smile die which I just received this week. That word was die cut from navy cardstock and I added some Wink of Stella shimmer to it and the flowers as well. I added more color with the navy and green strips of paper.
I'm going to enter this in the Clean and Simple Stamping challenge as this is where I got my inspiration for my layout.
You can see more from the JUGs DT and our Guest Designer on these blogs.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh I love this...so fun with the touch of texture and the crisp images Lisa.
Terrific card! That added bg texture is perfect--
The thin lines are perfect to finish the card of and I am still smiling over that little label-smily! Hugs, Gerrina

LOVE the texture you added in the background, Lisa! Sure to make anyone smile!
Oh, I just love that little pocket with the flowers! Very cool background, too. That's the great thing about art, you can make your flowers any color you want.
Super fun card!!!

This card made me smile too! It is gorgeous! Love the sweet green flowers coming out of the pocket and the texture of your background. It really is lovely!
