This week's challenge is a color challenge issued by Joy Stagg and she chose the fabulous color combo of red, black and white. So I decided to use the snake with hot peppers from the new set called South of the Border. I just fell in love with this fun set!
I had been saving this ribbon for just the right card, and this was it! It was perfect for this sketch from the Mojo Monday blog. They are celebrating 100 sketches this week with a new sketch every day from their DT. I just turned the sketch on its side to accommodate my image. I colored the snake with copic markers and added Crystal Effects to the snake's eyes and the peppers. I also added Star Dust Stickles to the green tops of the peppers because I love SPARKLE!
I have to say that I think my mojo is still on vacation! This was the first card I had done in well over a week because I was on vacation. I'd heard about losing your mojo after a vacation, but I didn't think it would happen to me! I do like the card, but I had something different in mind! What do you think?
Remember to join the AI challenge if you like this color combo. You have the chance to win a grab bag of AI stamps, too! All you have to do is link your direct post to Mr. Linky on the AI blog. Thanks for stopping by today!
