I had an immediate idea on how I was going to create my card. The rug reminded me of the Wanted set from SU. I also thought of using Sky Blue and Creamy Caramel. However, once I put the card together, it looked like a kindergartener did it! So, I scrapped it and looked back at the inspiration piece. I noticed the diamond tufting on the sofa and the flower vases on the mantel. That's when it all clicked! I got out the Scor-Pal and created the diamond embossing. I added the Creamy Caramel dots for definition. Then, what to use for the flower pot? I remembered this Anna Griffin stamp I've had for a long time and stamped it in Creamy Caramel. It looked too blah, so I took a copic marker (#B00) and lightly colored the entire stamp in that blue. I didn't want to introduce any other colors like green or red into the image. I scallop punched it, mounted it on Creamy Caramel (cut with the Creative Memories cutting system), and added the HPH (the brads reminded me of the buttons on tufted sofas!). I also rounded the corners because the sofas had a roundness to them. Voila! It was done! I'm much happier with this one than the first one! Sometimes those "immediate ideas" don't pan out! ~TFL!~
